Meet Jen
Welcome to Nation Beauty, where my goal is to empower you to feel your best.
My name is Jen Geraghty and I am the owner and beauty therapist at Nation Beauty.
A little bit about me, I am a mum of 3 girls, my girls are why I got into the beauty industry—I'm a NZ Level 5 Qualified Beauty Therapist and I also hold a Level 5 International ITEC qualification.
Outside my current studies, I've gained qualifications for advanced skin care treatments such as Hydradermabrasion facials, Oxygen facials, Advanced Microneedling and LED. You can find more information about these here.
I have a background in hotel management and childbirth education as well as an Arbonne business, which has taught me so much about starting my own salon.
Although I specialize in advanced skin treatments I offer a range of services including facials, waxing, lashes & brows.
My core values for Nation Beauty are sustainability, education, passion, commitment and empowerment.
Sustainability in this world is very important to me, especially in the beauty industry. I am proud to be a Sustainable Salon which means that 95% of my waste is recycled by Sustainable Salons and repurposed into products that are reused. I am committed to finding ways to reduce my waste and look for partners committed to sustainability. All while holding the highest level of hygiene.
Education I love to empower my clients to feel their best and one of the ways to do this is to help educate and share my knowledge with them. This means I ensure my education is always up to date and that I am trained in the services I provide.
Passion is the driving force I always aim to be the best and give the best.
Commitment I am committed to keeping updated with the latest information, training and technology to excel for my clients.
Empowerment I aim to create an environment and provide services that have my clients feeling their best inside and out.
Nation Beauty is currently at 52 Oxford Street, Levin ready to expand and grow. First staff member Stevie Dixon started in August 2023. We also have a second staff member Felicia Gear who is our Lash & Nail Tech who started in December 2023.
You'll feel relaxed and comfortable no matter the treatment you've booked. I love meeting new people and looking after my regular clients. I look forward to seeing you in the salon and empowering you to feel your best.
